Processing is where formulation risk lives. The equipment that precedes the filler — mixing, blending, carbonation — must be configured for the actual beverage, because juice and carbonated soft drinks need different processing conditions even when they share downstream equipment. Specifying the processing stage generically is how lines end up producing product that fails quality checks at the filler.

Where products allow it, shared downstream configuration reduces capital cost — but the filling technology and product circuit are always reviewed independently per product. CIP-ready circuits are standard. Output is sized to the required saleable volume, not the nameplate speed of the blending skid.
