CSD Filling Production Line

Carbonated drinks add variables that still lines do not have: carbonation-related performance, product temperature and closure or seam quality all interact. The line is accepted against those measurements rather than against the speed printed on the machine.

Process flow

1. 01

   Carbonation & mixing

   Carbonation set to specification with the process water treated beforehand.

2. 02

   Counter-pressure filling

   Filling conditions held to prevent CO₂ loss and foaming.

3. 03

   Crowning or capping

   Closure quality verified — torque and seal are part of the acceptance test.

4. 04

   Inspection

   Fill quantity, carbonation performance and product temperature measured.

5. 05

   Packing

   Labelling, coding, secondary packaging and palletising completed.
