Packs & bottle conveyors

Air conveyors and buffer conveyors linking blowing, filling and packaging.

Packs & bottle conveyorsHandling

Conveying is what keeps a production line continuous. Without adequate buffer capacity between blowing and filling, a 30-second stoppage at the blower halts the entire line. Seven Zillions plans the conveying layout as part of the complete line engineering — not as an afterthought — because the buffer lengths and air conveyor routing determine whether the floor plan is viable before a single machine is positioned.

Air conveyors move preforms and empty bottles from the blower to the filling stage without contact that could contaminate or deform the bottle neck. Buffer conveyors provide up to 150 m of holding capacity between blowing and filling, sized to the speed differential and the acceptable stoppage time for the specific line. Pack conveyors at the end of the line feed the shrink wrapper and palletiser. Engineering drawings for the complete conveyor layout are supplied as part of the project documentation.
